De La Warr Pavilion is the landmark 1935 modernist pavilion on the Bexhill-on-Sea seafront, designed by Erich Mendelsohn and Serge Chermayeff, with a 1,000-seat auditorium (around 400 standing for gigs) plus gallery spaces. The music programme runs from touring indie, rock and electronic acts to orchestral shows - 2026 bookings include The Proclaimers and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - with free outdoor events on the terrace across the summer and participation in Independent Venue Week. A PA system and in-house engineers are provided.
