Blackbox ‌‌‍is a 280-capacity late-night club and live-music venue on George Street in the heart of Hastings Old Town, occupying the upstairs space that was formerly Dr Jekyll's and launched in 2023. It runs an eclectic programme of grassroots gigs, tribute nights, alternative club nights and themed parties, backed by a state-of-the-art sound and lighting rig and a fully stocked bar. The team has set out to put Hastings back on the UK touring circuit, making it a key small-room stop on the East Sussex coast.
