Brighton Rocks is an intimate, ever-evolving cocktail bar tucked away at 6 Rock Place in the heart of Kemptown, under the same management since 2016. It's known for classic-inspired cocktails, craft beers, organic wines and a serious spirits list — including some 120 different whiskeys from 22 countries — served in a stylish modern room with raised exterior decking offering a sea view. On the music side it leans more towards bar entertainment than a full gig venue: live musicians play post-modern-jukebox-style sets, and at weekends a side section turns over to DJs with a small dancefloor, plus the odd cocktail masterclass and poker night. Best suited to solo acts and small ensembles playing a polished, lounge-leaning set rather than loud band nights.

The Night
