East Brighton Park is a c. 60-acre council-run park behind Brighton Marina, with Sheepcote Valley nature reserve beyond it, and it doubles as one of the city's open-air concert sites. It is not a year-round venue: live music arrives as ticketed summer events on the grass, with The Park Series bringing JLS (Friday 22 May 2026) and East 17 (Saturday 23 May 2026) and Land Beyond Festival staging its one-day Origins edition there on Sunday 24 May 2026. Between shows it is an ordinary park with a playground, sports pitches, two car parks and a seasonal cafe, so there is no house PA, stage or bar, and promoters bring full production for each event. Expect pop, dance and festival line-ups rather than a grassroots gig circuit.
