About Daltons

This is the background on Daltons, from the venue and its listings. The notes below sum up what the venue and its listings say. Played here before? Tell us whether these details were right.

Daltons is a grassroots music venue in Brighton.

Listing notes

Daltons ‌‌‍is a grassroots venue right on Brighton beach, on the Lower Promenade of Madeira Drive east of the Pier, under the Brighton Zip. It's a busy room, and the calendar is about as varied as Brighton gets. The backbone is loud, independent guitar music: punk and hardcore bills such as Menstrual Cramps with French Toast and Hissy Fist, Witchrot, the Stormo and Believe In Nothing co-headline tour, and promoter nights like Barricade Promotions' show with 5 Degrees North. Around those you'll find touring acts like Kid Bookie, queer club nights, goth and Halloween specials, film screenings, talks and multi-day events such as Mutations Festival. It's the sort of place where local bands share bills with touring acts on a weeknight. To pitch a show, email the venue's creative team at the address on its website.
