The Gregson is a community and arts centre in the Moorgate area of Lancaster, housed in a former school building. It is one of the district main medium-sized performance spaces, with a main hall, the smaller Olive Bar room and a cafe bar. Its programme covers live music, comedy, spoken word, film and community classes. The Wordarium, its inclusive and community-focused poetry open mic, runs monthly on a Wednesday, usually the third of the month, at 7.30pm.
