Backstage Cleveleys is a rock-themed music bar on the corner of Victoria Road West and Cleveleys Avenue, opened in October 2023 in a former cycle shop by Ian Fletcher — the man behind Blackpool's long-running Waterloo Music Bar. The decor leans hard into its theme, with rock memorabilia, a wall of electric guitars and musical-themed seating, and it pulls a crowd of indie and rock fans. Live bands are a regular feature, especially at weekends, and the bar is dog-friendly with a line-up of European beers, real ales, speciality wines and spirits. With the existing PA, drums, guitar and bass amps and keys listed in our records, it's set up to host plugged-in band nights rather than purely acoustic sets.
