The Night
The Galleon Bar is Blackpool's late-night live-music bar on Abingdon Street, a few minutes from the Winter Gardens - a nautical-themed room packed with music memorabilia and red neon lyrics, that proudly promotes jazz, blues and beyond with guest musicians performing through the week. Monday is open mic night: a house band of seasoned players holds the stage and anyone can get up and sing or play with them, so it runs more like a jam than a solo-slot night.
Hours
Open Monday to Thursday 7pm to 3am, Friday and Saturday 1pm to 4am, Sunday 1pm to 3am (CAMRA, updated March 2026). The bar opens at 7pm on Mondays and the music gets going later in the evening - the venue does not publish a fixed start time, so ring 01253 751488 if you need to be sure.
