Malones Irish Bar is an authentic Aberdeen Irish bar at 90 Shiprow (AB11 5BZ), part of the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel. It puts on live music seven nights a week from a range of local talent, with an eclectic mix of country classics, pop, indie rock and famous Irish covers. It also runs an Open Mic Night and a monthly 'Songwriters Room' open mic for original music only, on the first Wednesday of each month in the Bit on the Side bar (hosted by Ray Moore). Open until midnight Sunday-Thursday and 1am Friday-Saturday — a lively, welcoming grassroots room.
