Opened in 1992 as the home of Aberdeen's Alternative Festival, it has two performance spaces: the 550-capacity Lounge for standing gigs (just under 300 seated) and the more intimate 166-seat Studio. It brings cutting-edge music, theatre, comedy and dance to the city, hosting touring bands, emerging local acts, folk, jazz and more in a professional, well-equipped setting.
