The Rusty Nail on Rosemount Viaduct has been the home of Aberdeen's volunteer-run jazz promoter since January 2026, when Jazz at the Blue Lamp moved here after the Blue Lamp closed as a venue at the end of 2025. The promoter has since renamed itself Jazz in the Granite City, and the Rusty Nail sits at the heart of its plans.
Alongside the jazz, the bar takes touring and local bills across a wide range of styles - recent and upcoming shows include The TV Casualties, Peter Cat, Orange Claw Hammer, Comfort Girl and the pianist Joy Ellis.
