The Night
The Last Drop Inn on Colliergate is a York city-centre real-ale pub (recently relaunched as a fully independent house) that runs an open mic from 8:30pm, with a house guitar, piano and backing tracks available and a free pint for anyone who sings. There's also a relaxed Sunday afternoon open acoustic session (2pm–4pm) where you'll get a free pint for joining in. No booking — just turn up; solo acts and bands alike are welcome.
About The Last Drop Inn
The Last Drop Inn sits at 27 Colliergate in the heart of York's city walls (YO1 8BW), North Yorkshire — a craft-beer staple for over twenty years and now fully independent, serving a rotating selection of around twenty beers and ciders in a historic building. After a shock closure it reopened with plans for expansion, craft beer and live music, and it frequently runs live-music nights, pub quizzes and televised sport in a friendly, dog-friendly community atmosphere. With a small standing capacity of around 80 and an in-house PA, it welcomes both original acts and covers — an intimate grassroots stage in central York.
