About The Bunkhouse
The Bunkhouse is an award-winning independent music venue and creative hub in Swansea city centre, spread across two streets (The Kingsway and Park Street, main entrance on Park Street, SA1 3DJ) and over two floors. Opened in 2017, it hosts over 240 shows a year in the venue alone plus events across South Wales. The Kingsway Main Stage handles larger gigs while the Park Street Bar Stage hosts intimate acoustic sets, spoken word and comedy. In 2024 it became the first venue in Wales to secure permanent protected cultural status through the Music Venue Trust's #OwnOurVenues initiative. A backline-equipped, sound-engineered grassroots room at the centre of Swansea's live scene.
