The Jolly Brewer is a much-loved live music bar at 27 Broadgate in Lincoln city centre (LN2 5AQ), with a striking interior of wall art, comfy cinema chairs and a big garden. A genuine grassroots room, it hosts a free open mic every Wednesday at 8:30pm and live music every Saturday night, with a programme that leans into soul, reggae, R&B and folk and welcomes both original songwriters and cover acts. Real ale, a friendly crowd and a packed events calendar (open mic, quizzes, poetry and more) make it one of Lincoln's key small stages.
