A no nonsense beer drinking pub in Newark opened by Blue Monkey Brewery, serving six or seven Blue Monkey real ales plus guests, real cider and bottled beers. It has a side room known as the Monkey Room with a dartboard and TV, plus books, games and a piano for customers. It has been Newark CAMRA Town Pub of the Year and repeatedly Cider Pub of the Year, and alternates its Wednesday night between a quiz and an open mic.
