The Harbour View is a welcoming real-ale and gin pub a stone's throw from Roker beach, and every Thursday from 8pm it hosts a popular open mic night billed as the "Speakeasy." About Harbour View Pub
The Harbour View is a modern local pub at 1 Benedict Road, Roker, Sunderland (SR6 0NX), sitting opposite Roker Harbour a short walk from Roker Beach. Converted from a former hotel and restaurant, it pours six regularly-changing real ales plus a strong gin selection. Its live-music draw is the popular weekly 'Speakeasy' — free-entry live blues and acoustic sessions led by George Shovlin and friends, every Thursday from 8pm. A welcoming, community-focused seafront pub for blues, acoustic and folk performers in north-east Sunderland.
