Wythenshawe Park is a 270-acre public park in south Manchester that doubles each summer as one of the city's largest open-air concert sites, branded 'Live From Wythenshawe Park'. The 2026 series is a marquee run of arena-scale outdoor shows across late August: The Cure open on Friday 21 August, Lewis Capaldi on Saturday 22 August, Pulp (with Self Esteem) on Friday 28 August, and The Courteeners — joined by The Vaccines and The Coral — on Saturday 29 August. For each show the park is built out into a temporary music village with a main stage, big-screen production, multiple bars, food traders and family areas. Note: this is a major outdoor concert site rather than a grassroots room — city Manchester is correct.
