Big Hands is a cult-favourite Manchester dive bar and live venue on the Oxford Road corridor, raw, loud and unapologetically independent since opening in 2001. A key player in the city's DIY scene, it puts on original acts weekly — emerging local bands and underground touring gems — with vinyl DJs spinning punk, garage-rock, soul and rock 'n' roll late into the night. Just a short walk from Manchester Academy, it's long been the unofficial aftershow haven for gig-goers and musicians, roof terrace included.
