Canvas & Cream is a friendly, independent cafe-restaurant at 18 London Road in the heart of Forest Hill, south-east London (SE23 3HF), a short walk from Forest Hill station. By day it serves breakfast, brunch and lunch seven days a week (Mon-Fri 9am-4pm, Sat-Sun 10am-5pm) - by night it opens for ticketed events, and it also hosts private parties, weddings and corporate bookings. The events programme is small and occasional rather than a gig-a-week calendar: a first-Wednesday stand-up night with Good Fun Comedy, a Comedy, Vocal Jazz & Swing night, and one-off live music evenings mixing barbershop, pop and jazz.
