About Club Cheek
This is the background on Club Cheek, from the venue and its listings. The notes below sum up what the venue and its listings say.
Club Cheek is a grassroots music venue in London.
Listing notes
Club Cheek is an independent, DIY nightclub and music venue tucked into a brick Victorian railway arch on Barrington Road in Brixton. The main hall is a double-height room of roughly 11 by 7.5 metres with a sprung wooden floor, modular staging, acoustic treatment and a proper lighting and PA rig.
The programme splits the night in two. Early evenings, usually from around 7:30pm, are band gigs from the alternative end of things - HMLTD, Shaking Hand, Ebbb and Yu Su are all on the calendar. Later on the arch turns into a club, with all-nighters from crews like Club Pantheon, Floor Play and the long-running Jamboree.
The room is also available for hire and as a rehearsal space, and a downloadable tech pack is on the venue's hire page. If you're pitching a show, the venue asks for as much detail about the event as possible up front.
