The Hunter Club is a grassroots music venue, independent bar and multi-purpose arts space in the heart of Bury St Edmunds, set in a renovated 16th-century building (the former Saracens Head). It is a big supporter of local and emerging talent, programming indie, rock, acoustic singer-songwriters, folk, hip-hop, metal and jazz alongside a monthly open mic, acoustic guitar club, live jazz lounge, comedy and theatre. Named Best Local Music Venue at the 2019 NMG awards, it gives independent promoters a fully equipped room in the town centre.
