The Church is a Grade II listed medieval church on St Stephen's Lane in the middle of Ipswich. It was deconsecrated in the 1970s and is now a cafe bar and music venue run by local promoter Brighten The Corners.
The main room hosts gigs from touring and local acts, mostly indie, folk and alternative, plus tribute shows, DJ nights, quizzes and markets. It has a lighting rig and the venue lists band backline and DJ equipment among what it can provide.
