The Ranmoor Inn is a renovated Victorian local on Fulwood Road in the leafy Ranmoor suburb of Sheffield (S10), sitting in the shadow of Ranmoor church with its original etched-glass windows and a stable yard to the rear. It is a genuine community pub built around six changing cask ales from the likes of Abbeydale, Bradfield, Acorn, Peak and Timothy Taylor. For performers, the weekly open mic runs every Tuesday from 8pm with PA, guitars and a keyboard provided, so you can turn up and play. The pub also stages 'piano time' on Saturday evenings, regular music nights, a Thursday 10pm quiz and karaoke on the 2nd and last Fridays of the month. A relaxed, dog- and child-friendly room with a garden and car park, it suits acoustic singer-songwriters and open-mic regulars rather than full amplified bands.

The Night
The Ranmoor Inn is a cosy traditional pub up in leafy Ranmoor on Fulwood Road, with real ales, open fires and a genuinely welcoming live-music scene.
