Rosslyn Court is a bijou listening room - a seated, quirky, friendly acoustic music venue on one level with a bar, coffee and cake - housed in a substantial Victorian villa in the heart of bohemian Cliftonville, Margate, with a B&B upstairs. The month runs to a pattern: a Classical Open Mic on the second Wednesday with free entry, a jazz concert on the third Wednesday, folk on Thursdays and a sea-shanty night on the second Friday, alongside a genuinely supportive Beginners Open Mic. The programme has taken in folk names of the order of Martin Carthy. Performances usually start at 7.30pm, and the first hour of Thursday nights is professionally live-streamed on YouTube. Guide, hearing and registered assistance dogs are welcome.

The Night
Rosslyn Court in Cliftonville is a friendly, acoustic-focused music venue, and its "Totally Classical" Open Mic is a real one-off — a relaxed evening for anyone to perform or just watch classical music, whatever your level. It runs every 2nd Wednesday from 7:30pm with free entry; a piano is provided and you're encouraged to bring any other instruments you need.
