The Foundry Brew Pub at 77 Stour Street (CT1 2NR) in central Canterbury is home to Canterbury Brewers & Distillers — a working craft brewery, distillery, restaurant and bar all under one roof. The large industrial-feel bar opens through double doors into the brewery and a Kent barn dining room, with over 16 ales, lagers and ciders handcrafted on site plus award-winning spirits including English whisky, rum, vodka and a range of gins. Winner of Pub of the Year at the 2019 Kent Tourism Awards, it runs brewery and distillery tours and a kitchen serving modern pub classics, including mushrooms grown sustainably on site. It hosts a regular free open-mic night (one of Canterbury's most-recommended starter mics) where musicians get short slots to perform.
