The Eagle Inn is Salford's award-winning grassroots music venue, a traditional pub at 19 Collier Street, Greengate (M3 7DW). In 2014 the empty terraced house next door was converted into a bespoke, fully functioning 80-capacity venue complete with raised stage, balcony and a top-spec sound and lighting system. It runs live music, spoken word, comedy, theatre, film screenings and exhibitions on almost every night of the week, leaning indie/alternative, and has hosted acts such as Vigilantes. (Note: imported as 'london' with a Hoxton website, both incorrect - this is the Salford Eagle Inn, per the Vigilantes Manchester source listing.)
