The Duck & Drake is a historic two-roomed Victorian pub on Leeds' oldest street, at 43 Kirkgate between the historic Kirkgate Market and the bus station, retaining its Victorian façade, marble doorway jambs, original light fittings and centuries-old floorboards. A serious real-ale destination (six permanent and nine rotating hand pulls of local and award-winning cask), it's also one of Leeds' most reliable grassroots music pubs, with live bands every week from Friday to Sunday across blues, rock and reggae. Open 11am-11pm daily, it pairs heritage character with consistently good live music.
