The Famous Green Man is a historic pub at 71 High Street in Ewell Village, on the edge of Epsom in Surrey. It is a proper local with real character - a busy bar, a friendly crowd and a strong tradition of community events.
The open mic runs fortnightly on Wednesday nights, starting at 8.30pm and free to attend. It is a relaxed, all-welcome night where acoustic acts, singers and songwriters take short turns in front of a supportive home crowd.
Dates are posted on the pub's website and Facebook page, and the bar staff can point newcomers to the organiser on the night.
