A 60-capacity live-music, comedy and theatre room, it hosts the best blues, funk, soul and jazz acts on the UK and European scene at its Saturday Speakeasy Party, Crack Comedy's stand-up every Friday, and a Wednesday open mic voted one of the Top 10 in South London — plus brunch, poetry and drag. About This Open Mic
The Night
Ram Jam Records is a back-alley speakeasy tucked behind the Grey Horse pub on Richmond Road, a two-minute walk from Kingston station, and its Wednesday open mic has been voted one of the best in South London. It runs every Wednesday from 7pm, with sign-up in person from 6pm via a raffle: numbers are drawn just after 6pm and you pick your slot from the timesheet. There's a proper backline waiting — guitar amps, a bass amp, a piano and a drum kit — so full bands and solo acts alike can just plug in and play.
