The Night
Paradise Garden is a laid-back cafe-bar for music lovers at 213 City Road, Cardiff, built around an audiophile sound system, with live music and DJs every week from Wednesday to Sunday. Its open mic is Plug Jam, an electronic open mic on the first Thursday of the month - listed on the venue's own programme for 4 June, 2 July, 6 August and 3 September 2026 - where local producers and live-electronic acts plug in and play alongside whoever turns up with a box of gear. The bar opens at 5pm on Thursdays and runs to 11.30pm. On the last Thursday of the month Bamzu hosts a live jazz performance and jam night, the Beat Science electronic producer meet-up sits on a Wednesday, and the programme also carries open-decks nights.
