The White Rabbit is a quirky, Alice-in-Wonderland-themed pub at 13-14 Kensington Gardens in Brighton's North Laine (BN1 4AL). It serves up open mics and DJs every weekend, plus themed parties and acoustic nights that showcase up-and-coming bands from Brighton's music scene, alongside good food and a garden with a mural of the white rabbit. Open to midnight midweek and 1am Fridays and Saturdays, it's a relaxed, characterful grassroots room — around 90 capacity with a house PA — that welcomes both originals and covers.

The Night
The White Rabbit in Brighton's North Laine runs a free weekly open mic every Wednesday, 8pm to 10:30pm, hosted by the Move On crew in the pub's Alice-in-Wonderland-themed back room. It's a warm, community-driven night that's become one of the city's most-loved weekly slots. Sign-up is walk-in — turn up early to grab a slot. There's a house guitar and reverb on the vocals, and performers get a free drink for getting up to play.
