The Night
The Mucky Duck is on Brighton's seafront in Kemptown — an old fishermen's pub that runs a Thursday acoustic open mic year-round. The format is intentionally low-key: solo songwriters, folk duos, occasional poetry.
180 minutes, 15 acts at 12 minutes. Crowd is mostly Kemptown locals plus the small but reliable Brighton open-mic touring circuit — typically 40-70 people.
