The Underground is an independent multi-genre live-music venue at 9 Duke Street in central Bradford (BD1 3QR), just off North Parade, opened in 2016 to make live music more accessible across the district. Standing capacity is around 350. It has built a strong reputation hosting touring names including The Wombats, The Twang, Arrested Development, Maverick Sabre, UK Subs, Maxi Jazz (Faithless) and Lucy Spraggan, alongside theatre, comedy, scratch nights and club/sound-system events. The venue is open Thursday to Saturday evenings (late on Fri/Sat). A house PA is provided and both originals and covers are welcome.
