The Red Rooster is a real ale pub about half a mile from Brighouse town centre, purpose-built around 1900 as The Wharf to serve an adjacent coal wharf. It runs up to five handpulls of cask beer and cider, welcomes cyclists and walkers with a bike park and a relaxed attitude to muddy boots, and serves pie and peas daily. It has a busy weekly entertainment diary with live music most Saturdays.
