About The Hunter Club

The Hunter Club is a grassroots music venue, independent bar and multi-purpose arts centre in the heart of Bury St Edmunds, established in 2009 and now one of the town's leading independent stages for live music. It champions the local scene — indie, rock, acoustic singer-songwriters, afrobeat, folk, hip-hop, opera and metal all feature — while also hosting more well-known touring acts. The calendar runs deep with a monthly open mic and Acoustic Guitar Club (both free to perform and attend), live jazz lounge nights, drag cabaret, stand-up comedy, theatre and burlesque.
