The Historic Lavenham 'Big Top' Theatre (also billed as the Historic Lavenham Open Air Theatre) is a seasonal concert site on Bridge Street Road on the edge of Lavenham, the medieval wool village near Sudbury in Suffolk (CO10 9SH). It is not a year-round venue: each August the promoter We Love Concerts raises a big top with covered seating inside and a laid-back picnic area on the grass, and runs a fortnight of ticketed shows. The 2026 series ran 7-16 August with Russell Watson, A Foreigner's Journey, Bay City Rollers, Yes Please, The Carpenters Experience, Genesis Connected, The Shires, Collabro and T.Rextasy Unplugged with Acoustic Bowie - a mix of touring names and tribute acts, evening shows starting 7.30pm with some afternoon matinees. Tickets go through See Tickets, Ticketmaster, Ents24 and Gigantic. A produced, ticketed summer stage rather than a bring-your-own-PA grassroots room.
