A multi-venue hub at the start of Stokes Croft, Bristol — a large courtyard, a pub, two kitchens and a backpackers' hostel, with the 240-capacity Attic Bar upstairs as the live music and club room. The Attic is one of the city's longest-standing independent music spaces. It comes fully crewed: stocked bar with staff, security, a green room and an in-house sound technician, so an act walks into a room that is already set up. Live music and DJs run every Thursday, Friday and Saturday — drum & bass, reggae and dub, hip hop and soul, alongside resident DJs and UK and international electronic artists. Thursdays are the room's live music and club-hire night, and also home to the free Suntrap Jam Night, where any musician can get up and play.
