Live music happens in the Attic Bar, a 240-capacity independent room that has been one of the city's longest-standing music and club spaces. Hire of the room comes with a green room, its own toilet, a stocked bar with staff, security and an in-house sound technician — so an act arrives to a room that is already crewed.
The venue programmes live music and DJs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, spanning drum & bass, reggae and dub, hip hop and soul alongside UK and international electronic artists and resident DJs. Thursdays are the room's live-music and club-hire night, and also when the free Suntrap Jam Night (hosted by Bon Suis) invites musicians of any level to get up and play. Student Wednesdays add open decks and a pool table.
