How do I find a venue to play?

Open Explore and choose Venues. The page lists every venue on GigXchange, and you can narrow it down with the search below the masthead - on a phone, tap the row under Search venues to open the filters.

At the top, Recently Active shows venues that have been on GigXchange lately.

Under Search venues, filter by name, city, venue type, capacity and budget, and use Available On for the date you want to play. Advanced opens the full filter panel - see How do I narrow down a search for an act or a venue? - and Clear resets every filter. Open a venue's profile to see its type, capacity and budget, and to message or book it.

Venues that are not on GigXchange yet appear in the list too, marked Unclaimed. Vote for the ones you would like to play: your vote tells us which venues members want, so we can invite them. Claiming a venue's page needs a venue account - see How do I claim my venue's page?. Know someone at a venue? Press the house icon at the top right of the page (hovering it says Invite a venue) to send them an invite.
