Bookings & Gigs

How do I narrow down a search for an act or a venue?

Each Explore search page has its own filters in the bar along the top — genre, city, fee, a date. When they are not enough, press Advanced next to them to open the full filter panel.

On top of the basics, the panel gives you:

  • Rating — leave it on Any, or ask for a minimum star rating. It is a floor, not a rounding, so members with no reviews yet drop out of the results once you pick one.
  • With Photos and With Videos — switch either on to see only members who have that media on their profile. Off simply means "do not filter on it", not "without photos".
  • Postcode Proximity — type a postcode, look it up, and set how far around it to search.

Press Apply to run it, or Clear all to start again. The page tells you how many filters are on, so you can always see why a list looks short.

This is on Find Artists, Venues, Agents and Promoters. Organiser accounts have Find Artists, which is their browsing home; the other three are for artist, venue, agent and promoter accounts.

Found the act you want? Press Book on their card, or open their profile, scroll to Get in touch near the bottom and press Book, to send them an offer (organiser accounts are taken to a booking form instead). From there it works like any offer: see how bookings work.

Being findable works the same way in reverse — see I am not getting any replies or bookings.
