How do I find gigs near me?

Go to Explore and choose Find Gigs. From there you can filter by genre, city, date and budget to narrow it down to gigs you would actually want.

Find Gigs shows open mics as well as posted gigs. Use the tabs above the list: All, Open gigs or Open mics. An open mic card says "Open mic · just turn up" and the night it runs.

Open mics work differently from gigs. There is nothing to apply for and no pay: you turn up on the night and put your name down to play. Press an open mic card (or View open mic on the large card at the top) for the start time, the entry fee if there is one, the kit the venue provides, and other open mics nearby.

The genre, city and date filters apply to open mics too; setting a budget hides them, because open mics are unpaid.

You can also browse the public gig directory, which is open to everyone and does not need an account.

Two things help gigs find you as well: keeping your availability calendar up to date, and keeping your profile complete. Bookers filter on both.
