How do I find other musicians to play with?

Use Classifieds — the noticeboard where artists find each other, fill openings, and get found.

It is switched off by default. To turn it on, open Settings, choose Add-ons, and switch on Classifieds — it then appears in your Explore menu.

On the board you can browse ads from other artists, or post your own with Post an ad. An ad is one of two kinds:

• I need someone — your band has an opening to fill
• I want to play — you are available for bands to book

Each ad carries the role, the commitment, the city and a short detail line, so you can tell at a glance whether it fits. Filter by role, city and kind to narrow the board down.

Replying to an ad starts an ordinary GigXchange chat with the poster — posters are real profiles, so you can check their media and reviews before you commit to anything.
