Getting Started
How do I claim my venue's page?
Most UK grassroots venues already have a page in the GigXchange directory, built from public listings rather than by the venue. If one of them is yours, you can take it over.
Find your venue in the directory and open its page. Part-way down, in the middle card of the row that also holds the map and the booking information, you will see Is this your venue? — press Claim this venue. That takes you to venue signup with the listing already attached, so the page becomes yours as soon as the account is made. It is a free account, no card needed, and takes about 30 seconds.
Once it is yours you can:
- Edit the details, so what artists read comes from you
- Set your fee range
- Update backline and capacity
- Receive artist enquiries through the page
A claimed page says Claimed to visitors, and the details on it are credited to the venue rather than to us. That is the whole point of claiming — a page nobody has claimed is only as good as the public information behind it.
If something on an unclaimed page is simply wrong, you do not have to claim it to fix it: use Send a Correction on the page.
