Bookings & Gigs

How do I leave a review?

Once a booking is marked complete, both sides are invited to leave a review — a rating from 1 to 5 stars, plus written feedback.

Reviews appear on your public profile and count toward your average rating. They work both ways: artists review venues and promoters, and they review artists back.

This is how trust gets built on the platform. A new profile with no history is a risk to book; a profile with a run of solid reviews is not. It is worth leaving them, and worth asking for them.

Most reviews come from a completed booking on GigXchange, and those carry a GX verified badge. A profile can also carry reviews left without a booking, which carry no badge, and testimonials brought in from elsewhere, marked External (or Client verified where the client has been confirmed). So the badge, not its absence, is what tells you a review has a real booking behind it.
