The White Hart is a Grade II listed 17th-century free house in the heart of Wolvercote, on the northern edge of Oxford, community-run since 2014 by the people who live in and love the village. Alongside 3-4 changing local cask ales and evening pizzas and burgers, the pub keeps a genuine live-music tradition going: monthly Sunday open-mic afternoons that platform local singers, plus regular folk, jazz and sea-shanty sessions (the Early English Folk / Shanty Sessions are a fixture). It's an intimate, acoustic-leaning room rather than a full-band rock venue, with a PA on hand and a warm community crowd. Booking enquiries go to whwbookings@gmail.com.
