About Commune Liverpool
Commune Liverpool is a grassroots music venue in Brownlow Hill, Liverpool with a standing capacity of approximately 70. Bring your own PA, mics and instruments.
Commune is a small, fiercely independent creative bar in Liverpool's Fabric District, tucked down the side of an old printing warehouse that once housed the radio station Melodic Distraction. It pairs a gravity bar, wooden furnishings and a fairy-lit courtyard with a compact stage and house PA for live music, DJs, album launches and film nights, hosting around 70 people standing in a relaxed, arty atmosphere. Open Thursday to Sunday, 3pm to midnight, its events calendar runs several nights a week - a typical summer month mixes local indie and punk bills, hip-hop and spoken-word nights, funk and soul DJs and Sunday afternoon sessions. One of the few genuinely accessible music spaces in the city, it's built around a love of live music, the arts and community.
