Maddens runs open traditional music sessions seven nights a week. Owner Brian McMullan took over in December 2007 and has always seen the bar as a hub for traditional music.
You'll find it on Berry Street, under the western shadow of Castle Court in Belfast city centre. Monday nights draw a big crowd, and once a month teenagers are welcomed in to play.
There is also a singing afternoon, The Sunday Song, for those who prefer a song to a tune.
