The Ulster Hall is a grand Victorian concert hall on Bedford Street in the heart of Belfast city centre, opened in 1862 and one of the oldest purpose-built concert halls in the UK and Ireland. The Grade A-listed Grand Hall seats roughly 1,000, or holds up to 1,650 standing once the ground-floor seating is removed. Since the 1960s it has been Northern Ireland's spiritual home of rock, hosting an almost endless roll-call of famous names alongside classical, country, comedy and family entertainment. A house PA and full technical production are in place — this is a managed concert venue, not a bring-your-own-rig grassroots room.
