Mandela Hall is the main concert hall of Queen's University Belfast Students' Union and one of the city's finest live-music and comedy venues. First opened in 1967, it was completely rebuilt and re-opened in September 2022 with a state-of-the-art sound system, lighting and acoustic treatment, housed within the new Students' Union on the original site. It holds up to 1,000 standing and configures to 400 seated, and hosts gigs, club nights, comedy and entertainment. Its decades-long roll call includes The Clash, U2, Radiohead, Ed Sheeran, Van Morrison, Snow Patrol, Wolf Alice, Calvin Harris and Stiff Little Fingers.
