The Boileroom is an award-winning grassroots music and cultural arts venue in the heart of Guildford, Surrey, moments from Guildford and London Road stations. Curating emerging, national and local live music since 2006, the roughly 275-capacity room has hosted the likes of Ed Sheeran, Foals, The Bronx and First Aid Kit, alongside MOBO, Mercury and BBC Folk Award winners. It is prized for excellent sightlines (no obstructive pillars or tables), strong in-house sound and lighting, and a community-arts ethos supported by its Patreon.

About The Boileroom

About This Open Mic
The Night
The Boileroom — Guildford's award-winning independent grassroots venue — runs its Open Stages open mic on a Monday roughly once a month, with sets from 7pm through to about 11pm. It's a proper stage night rather than a pub corner: full backline, an in-house sound engineer and a full lighting rig are all provided, and you play in front of the venue's booking team with the chance of bagging a future support slot. No advance booking — just turn up early to grab a set. Entry is £2 on the door.
What's on stage — equipment and backline at this venue, verified regularly.
